Vivado legacy instalation

Hi. I bought a Alchitry Au many years ago. I want to get this working for learning FPGA’s. I got the Alchitry Labs working. I do have a problem getting the Vivado working.
I have installed the Xilinx_Vivado_Lab_Win_2019.2_1106_2127 in the legacy downloads. I saw a post that someone got that to work. Also the new 2024 version seems very large, > 70G. I do not have that amount of space on my drive.
I have pointed the Alchitry Labs to the directory where the xilinx installed: Set Vivado Location: C:\Xilinx\Vivado_Lab\2019.2. But the following error messages results:
No issues detected.
Starting Vivado…

I see there is a vivado_lab.bat in the bin directory, but not a vivado.bat.
What am I missing?

Does anybody have some tips for me? Is there maybe an updated vivado install guide that I can read?

Thanks

You should probably start by updating Vivado. Removing the old install first should free up a lot of space. I don’t know how tight you are on disk space but you can uncheck everything except the Artix 7 in the installer to save some space.

Here’s the latest install guide. (It really hasn’t changed in a long time)
