Thought on Litex support for the v2 boards

Hello everyone !

I recently added the Au v2 and Pt v2 boards to the litex boards repo, but for the moment there is no integration with the io banks as I am wondering about the best way to add it. I would be very happy to discuss this matter here.

Is it best if we expose the pinout for the element boards / shield, or perhaps just expose the io banks pinout ?

I’m eager to hear your thought on this!

It looks like you can separate the board’s built’in IOs and the shield’s IOs like it’s done with the Mojo board here?

And maybe the IO bank pins names could be declared as connectors?
