I remember some user had issue with some distro’s (notebly ubuntu 24) FTDI driver module, you can try solutions proposed in this thread : https://forum.alchitry.com/t/ubuntu-issues-with-alchitryloader-and-serial-port/
This case was a conflict between the ftdi_sio module and the D2XX official driver used by Alchitry, so disabling ftdi_sio module was the solution.
